Yealink is now compatible with Dialpad

Initially, Dialpad was uncertain about the compatibility of Yealink phones with their service. However, after certification and testing, Dialpad is now supporting a specific range of Yealink phones. This move ensures that Dialpad is catering to the diverse needs of its clients, who may prefer a physical phone over a mobile app or desktop.

The availability of Yealink phones on the Dialpad platform is especially significant due to Poly's backorder issues in 2021-22. Regarding Poly, Dempsey confirmed that Dialpad never lost support for Poly. Although some of the older VVX series had compatibility issues with Dialpad, these issues are being resolved. Poly is creating a new chip to support existing VVX series phones, which will address compatibility issues and feature backorders.

Meanwhile, Dialpad continues to support the CCX series through a specific partnership with Poly, allowing Dialpad's mobile app to run on CCX phones in real-time.
