First Impressions The Cisco 8841 IP Phone has a visually appealing design, and for Rich Technology Group, it is considered one of the top 3 phones in terms of design. It has a 5-inch high-resolution VGA backlit color display and ergonomic design, which makes it easy to use, and it is classified as a business-class phone by Cisco. Regarding audio quality, the Cisco 8841 IP Phone has a standard wideband capable audio handset that uses HD Voice. The phone is also known for its renowned user experience, including the feel, sound quality, and display. The phone features typical function keys below the screen, including a navigational keypad for easy navigation and a selection button in the middle. It also has quick buttons for voicemail and phonebook and conferencing buttons for adding another person to the call or making a conference call. Audio buttons and volume keys are also conveniently located on the right side. As a first impression, one notable security feature of the Cisco 8841 IP Phone is the activation code required for provisioning and profiling the phone. This allows the phone to connect to the appropriate provider's profile, such as Vonage, Nextiva, Dialpad, or any other, for seamless integration with the phone system. The back of the Cisco 8841 IP Phone has a DC/AC adaptor port, Ethernet LAN port for internet connectivity (with POE support), passthrough port, auxiliary port, RJ-9 headset port, and handset port for wired handset connection. However, it should be noted that the power cable and any additional mounts for the phone are not included in the box and need to be purchased separately.
