Rich Technology Group Studio Tour!

We have been working on Rich Technology Group’s new studio for quite a while now. By sharing the complete description of what the interior and exterior are going to look like, we have shared a sneak peek in our YouTube videos and articles. 

In the previous videos and articles, we have talked about the pre-construction describing the overall particulars, rendering, and layout, and post-construction explaining the grey house structure.

​Now that everything is done, we are going to cover everything that we have got in the studio in addition to the specific room's description. 

When you enter RTG’s studio from the main door, you will see the main living room that acts as the dominant part of the studio. After a lot of consideration, we have placed the L-shaped couch in this area with a coffee table in the center.

​The reason why we have picked this setup for the living area is that there are going to have a lot of guests from different service providers and manufacturers in this studio at some point. We can conduct in-person interviews, one-on-one discussions, and talk show so having a separate confined space for that is ideal. 

The set in front of the living room and next to the kitchen shelf is our personal favorite. It is because of the eye-catching colors and small and comfortable chairs and side-table. Thus, to utilize the area in the best possible manner, Rich Technology Group will create detailed discussion videos or personal analysis videos in this part.

Next to this set, lies a small bathroom that we are going to use mostly for storage. A lot of mirrors are placed in the area to groom ourselves before shooting the video.

Moving towards the hallway part of the house, on the right, there is a room for the Rich Technology group’s stuff. Over the wall, there is a big cube organizer that is very big. The idea to place it is to showcase and have on-display different phones, devices, and props for visual purposes. As the manufacturers send us different items from time to time, we are going to swap the items to have a different and fresh background in each video. 

In the center of the room, we have placed the signature YouTube product review table. The table is big enough to manage product unboxing, first impressions, and detailed review videos. So, this is going to be the primary spot for review videos. 

In front of this table, we have also got a small desk with a white chair. Some items may look good in this setting so we thought to place them in the room too. To the right, there is a bookshelf with some props such as items sent to us by Nextiva, Vonage, and other providers and awards such as Vonage President’s Club Award, Chorus Communication Partner of the Year Award, and more. 

We have placed a 43 inches television on the wall that is going to be displayed in the video background. We are going to use it for digital background and will put logos and design of the products we are reviewing or talking about. Lastly, we have in production a giant acrylic custom Rich Technology Group logo that is going to be in the personal room video background.

Every single wall that you see in this studio has a different color. This is because of the requirement of different sets for Rich Technology group’s YouTube channel. Thus, every corner of the house can be utilized to showcase unique video backgrounds. 

Considering the improvement in our studio space, we have stepped up our video production game as well. The lighting in our new video is going to look better because we have placed huge LEDs in the studio. These LED panels are placed everywhere and their intensity and temperature can be controlled so it is a big plus.

One thing that is worth the note in this aspect is that all the windows in this studio are frosted. Basically, this texture is applied to diffuse the natural light coming in for an enhanced visual standard. The other thing that has been upgraded is the sound quality.

​For most videos, we have used a Canon M50 camera but now we have got some wireless Rode Microphones not only to step up the game but also for interviews and one-on-one talks. As they are dual-channel supported, we can hook up separate microphones without any hurdle. Also, for a wide-angle view in the videos, we have got Sigma 16mm that works with Canon M50 so a significant upgrade of the video recording angles and visuals has been made.

Rich Technology Group thanks all of its viewers that made all of this possible. Because of the constant support, especially in the last 2 years, we have been able to grow which allowed us to solidify our authority on YouTube. Not only it is fun for us but it also has allowed us to have funds to build our channel and business to the next level.
